La institució CERCA ha llançat la campanya “Recerca amb orgull” per promoure la visibilitat i la inclusió de les persones LGBTI+ en l’àmbit científic. Amb el lema “Als centres CERCA, fem ciència amb diversitat”, la iniciativa denuncia les desigualtats encara presents als entorns de recerca i defensa la necessitat d’espais laborals segurs, diversos i lliures de discriminació.
La institució CERCA ha posat en marxa la campanya Recerca amb orgull, una iniciativa que vol visibilitzar la diversitat afectivosexual i de gènere dins del sistema de centres de recerca de Catalunya. La campanya subratlla la importància de crear entorns laborals inclusius i segurs per a les persones LGBTI+ i denuncia les situacions de discriminació encara presents en el món de la recerca.
Segons dades recents, el 42 % de les persones LGBTI+ eviten parlar de la seva vida privada a la feina, i tres de cada deu han rebut comentaris ofensius en l’àmbit laboral (UGT, 2023). Aquesta realitat posa en evidència que calen canvis estructurals per garantir la igualtat real i efectiva dins dels equips científics.
“Als centres CERCA, fem ciència amb diversitat”
Amb el lema “Als centres CERCA, fem ciència amb diversitat”, la campanya defensa que la visibilitat no ha de ser una exigència individual, sinó una opció possible i segura, emparada per protocols específics, formació, processos de selecció lliures de biaix i una comunicació que reflecteixi la pluralitat del sistema de recerca.
El Centre de Recerca Matemàtica (CRM), com a centre CERCA, forma part d’aquesta xarxa compromesa amb la igualtat, la justícia i la promoció de la diversitat en l’àmbit científic. Perquè la recerca també és una eina de transformació social, i només pot avançar plenament si totes les persones que la fan possible poden desenvolupar-se en llibertat.
