CRM visual kit
Official logos, accreditation and funder marks, templates and colours for your talks, posters and papers, with the rules for using them.
What are you making?
Logos
Every file is a PNG with a transparent background. Use the full-colour version whenever you can, and switch to black or white on coloured or photographic backgrounds. Vector versions (SVG, PDF, EPS) are available on request.
Using the logo
These rules apply to every version, lock-ups included.
Do
Leave clear space
Keep a margin of at least half the logo's height free of text, images and other logos.

No narrower than 120 px on screen or 25 mm in print.

Go white on dark
On dark colours and evenly toned photos, use the white version.

Stretch or squash it
Resize from a corner so the proportions stay intact.

No new colours, shadows, outlines or glows.

Put the colour logo on dark
The crimson sinks into the background. Use the white version instead.
Accreditation, partner and funder marks
Add the relevant marks to the acknowledgements of publications, posters and talks produced with CRM support. The CRM holds the María de Maeztu Unit of Excellence accreditation (2022–2025) and is a CERCA centre. If your project is funded by the AEI, ICREA or a European programme (ERC, EU), add that emblem too. The exact wording of the acknowledgements is in Affiliation and acknowledgements.

How to name the CRM when you sign a paper, a poster or any other output, and the acknowledgements that go with it. Pick your case and copy the result.

The short form leaves out the street address and keeps only the city.

Templates
The CRM layout is already built in: fonts, colours, logos and spacing. Open the file and type over the sample text; each one explains itself on its first page or in its notes.
The LaTeX posters come as one zip with both designs. On Overleaf, choose New Project, then Upload Project, and pick the zip.

Colours
Black on white is the base. Crimson marks hierarchy, and orange is a signal you use once per page at most. Click any value to copy it.
