General Information

From November 14 to 18, 2016

This event is part of the IRP on Large Cardinals and Strong Logics made possible in part by the generous support from our contributors
Workshop description

The Workshop will bring to the CRM a group of international high-level researchers working on the applications of strong logics and large cardinals in other areas of mathematics, such as algebra, set-theoretical topology, category theory, algebraic topology, homotopy theory, C*-algebras, measure theory, etc. In all these areas there are not only direct set-theoretical applications but also new results and methods, which are amenable to the expressive power of strong logics.

The Workshop will be preceded by the Young Researcher's Seminar week (November 7 to 11, 2016), in which young researchers will have the opportunity to present their work to a wider audience, including world leaders in the field.
