My name is Núria Velasco Falguera, I am 24 years old, and I studied Physics with a Minor on Mathematica, because I’ve always had a strong interest in Mathematics. Last year, I completed a Master's in Modelling for Science and Engineering. I carried out my Master’s thesis at CRM on logconcave probability density functions for modeling natural hazard data, under the supervision of Álvaro Corral and Isabel Serra. I really enjoyed the experience, and I am very excited to be back here to continue working in this field. I am very happy to be part of the team and look forward to contributing to the center’s work.

Em dic Núria Velasco Falguera, tinc 24 anys i vaig estudiar Física amb un Minor en Matemàtiques, perquè sempre he tingut molt interès en les matemàtiques. Aquest darrer any he cursat el Màster en Modelització per la Ciència i l'Enginyeria. Vaig dur a terme el Treball de Final de Màster al CRM, sobre funcions de densitat de probabilitat logcòncaves per modelitzar dades de desastres naturals, supervisat per l'Álvaro Corral i la Isabel Serra. Vaig gaudir molt de l'experiència, i estic molt contenta de poder tornar aquest any al CRM per seguir treballant en aquest camp. Estic molt contenta de formar part de l’equip i tinc moltes ganes de contribuir a la tasca del centre.
