“The essence of mathematics lies in its freedom.” – Georg Cantor

I am a mathematician with a deep love for both Mathematics and Chemistry, and a strong passion for applying mathematics to address real-world challenges. I studied these subjects during my undergraduate degree at Laikipia University, Kenya ,where I built a strong foundation in analytical thinking and problem solving. I then pursued a Master’s in Mathematical Sciences at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS Ghana), completing my thesis under Prof. Michael Scherer on the geometry and physics of novel two-dimensional materials, with a focus on graphene and moiré patterns. I am currently a PhD student at the Centre de Recerca Matemàtica (CRM) and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), working with Prof. Tim Myers and Prof. Francesc Font. My research centers on mathematical modeling of adsorption and reaction–diffusion processes to address environmental contamination, combining expertise in differential equations, data analysis, and laboratory experience in both batch and column adsorption experiments.
