Call for the Organisation of Conferences and Workshops in 2028
The CRM invites proposals for conferences and workshops to be held throughout 2028.
The CRM provides organisational support, access to its facilities at a reduced cost and limited funding, depending on the resources available. The event format and registration fees will be agreed upon with the organisers. The CRM and the organisers may also jointly apply for additional competitive funding.
The call is open to individual researchers and research teams working in any area of mathematics or in disciplines involving advanced mathematics. The organising committee must include at least one researcher from a Catalan university or research institution.
Gender balance should be taken into account throughout the organisation of the course. Organisers are expected to promote balanced gender representation in the organising and scientific committees and to make every effort to ensure gender balance when inviting lecturers.
Application procedure
Researchers interested in organising a conference or workshop should submit their proposal by 30 April 2027. The proposal should include a description of the event, the organising and scientific committees, and a preliminary budget specifying the expected expenses, the items for which funding is requested and the expected sources of funding.
Submission deadline and notification of decisions
30 April 2027: Deadline for submission of proposals.
Mid-May 2027: The CRM will communicate its decision to the applicants.
Please note that the CRM can only confirm its involvement in the organisation of an event once the proposals have been evaluated and the decisions communicated.
