Aims and objectives

The aim of this topology workshop is to cover a large spectrum of themes in algebraic topology, with a focus on homotopy theory. In particular, stable homotopy theory has had a rapid growth in recent years, motivated by the development of new techniques and connections with other areas of mathematics. This workshop addresses the interactions between stable and unstable homotopy theory and other aspects of algebraic topology and geometry.

Please note that submitting a proposal does not exempt the applicant from having to register to the workshop.

In order to increase the number of young researchers, the CRM provides grants which cover the registration fee for younger participants.

Application deadline for grants: April 25th, 2019 (Applicants will receive replies by May 6th, 2019)​.
The EMS offers some travel grants to young mathematicians from less-favoured regions within the geographical area of EMS membership for presenting results at conferences or attending courses, or for research stays in foreign countries, normally up to a maximum of 900 euros in each case or 500 euros for trips within Europe.
Eligible researchers should use this online form​ in order to apply for travel grants.
Registration fee: 175€
Deadline for registration: May 19th, 2019 
Registration fee covers the documentation package, coffee breaks, lunch tickets and the social dinner
Refund policy:
Cancellations received 1 month before the start of the activity will incur in an administrative fee of 50of the total amount.
Cancellations received less than one month prior to the start of the activity are not refundable.
