The BARCCSYN meeting is a forum for the computational, systems and cognitive neuroscience community​ from the Barcelona area​.

Barccsyn is about bringing together researchers from computational, systems and cognitive neuroscience.  Our goal is to provide a forum for lively discussion and promote active collaboration between Barcelona-based research groups, especially between theorists and experimentalists.​
This is the eighth annual Barccsyn conference.  The conference will be held on Thursday and Friday, May 30th and 31st, 2019, at the Institut d'Estudis Catalans.  Each day we will have 8-10 brief oral presentations from local researchers, a poster session and a longer keynote lecture from a renowned researcher from abroad.  You can check the past editions here​​.

Registration fee: 100
Deadline for registration: April 29th, 2019 (or until all available seats are filled)
Registration fee covers the documentation package, coffee breaks, and lunch tickets 
Refund policy:
The registration fee depends on the date of the payment.
Cancellations received 1 month before the start of the activity will incur in an administrative fee of 50of the total amount.
Cancellations received less than one month prior to the start of the activity are not refundable.


You will be able to pay by card or bank transfer through the on-line registration system. If you need an invoice please send an email to​ after you have completed the registration process until the "save data" button. ​

​Types of participation
Participants have the option to contribute with a talk or with a poster (there will be a prize for the best conference poster). The poster boards we have, measure one meter wide by two meters high. Any poster size within these limits is fine. To apply for talks and/or poster presentation please submit the following form before April 15th, 2019.
A resolution message will be sent before the end of April.
