Colloquia and Camp Seminars

Our CAMP seminars provide you with a wide array of topics covering the mathematical sciences. This seminar series, which has been running since 2012, is organized by the CRM research groups, inviting experts and collaborators to deliver a talk on a specific topic related to the research carried out at the center. The CAMP seminar series is the perfect meeting point for the PhD students currently working on their thesis projects and other young researchers interested on the opportunities offered at the CRM.

What do we offer?

This seminar series is intended to reflect the research interests of the applied mathematics groups with the CRM, namely Industrial Mathematics, Complex Systems, Computational and Mathematical Biology and Computational Neuroscience. For further details on the groups (click here).

Given the diverse nature of the groups, seminars can cover a variety of research topics and will provide a forum for the presentation of results, not only by established researchers but also post-docs and PhD students.

For further information or to offer a seminar feel free to contact organizers (campseminar@crm.cat) or any of the heads of groups, Tim Myers (tmyers@crm.cat), Alvaro Corral (acorral@crm.cat), Tomas Alarcon (talarcon@crm.cat) and Alexander Roxin (aroxin@crm.cat).

This seminar series has evolved from the previous Industrial Mathematics and subsequently Industrial and Biological Maths series.
