Objectives
The Conference on Geometry and Quantization of Moduli Spaces is the final major event of the Research Programme and also constitutes the 2012 Vector Bundles on Algebraic Curves (VBAC) meeting. It will cover the main topics of the Research Programme and aims to bring together leading experts to provide an up-to-date picture of the latest developments in the fi eld. It will thus provide an excellent opportunity for researchers to acquaint themselves with the latest developments. The participation of young researchers is an important objective of the organizers and will be particularly encouraged.

Registration
Registration includes: attendance to the lectures, documentation package, copy of the course notes, social dinner, cultural activity, and coffee breaks.
Registration fee: 300€

Contributed Talks
There are between 8 and 10 time slots for oral presentations of 30 minutes. If you wish to submit a talk you will need to send the following information to Ms Núria Hernandez (
nhernandez@crm.cat) before May 1st:
-A title and abstract of your presentation
-Your last 5 most relevant publications (in case you do not have publications we will need you to send us the name of your Ph.D. Director).
We will send you an e-mail informing you whether your talk has been accepted as soon as a decision has been made by the Scientific Committee.
Available Grants
NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION GRANTS
Funding for graduate students and postdocs from US institutions is available through a grant from the US National Science Foundation.
CRM GRANTS
Young researchers may apply for a grant and take advantage of a reduced registration fee and a lodging grant.
Awards are determined based on academic criteria and/or country of residence (giving special attention to advanced researchers from less favoured countries).
There are two grants available:
Full Grant: access to reduced registration + lodging (during the days of the activity in a shared apartment with another participant)
Registration Grant: access to reduced registration.
Reduced registration fee for either type of grant holders: 90€
Deadline for grant applications: May 1, 2012
