The CIMPA-CRM programme aims to fund the participation of several young mathematicians from developing countries to the activities of Intensive Research Programmes at the CRM in Barcelona.

Young scientists (master students soon looking for a PhD, PhD students, postdocs) meeting those criteria and interested in the topics are much encouraged to apply for a support to participate in the Intensive Research Programme SAFAIS-2019  "Spaces of Analytic Functions: Approximation, Interpolation, Sampling".

The laureates of the CIMPA-CRM program will receive a financial support including:
  • - Roundtrip travel between your home country and Barcelona (including visa fees)
  • - Accommodation in Barcelona (in housing provided by the CRM)
  • - Per diem allowance of 600€/month, for 2 months
The candidates have to apply on the web page:
The applications must be submitted by June 30th, 2019.

Grants for young participants to attend the Workshop "Emergent Trends in Complex Function Theory". More information on these grants here.

The applications must be submitted by July 15th, 2019.

The EMS offers some travel grants to young mathematicians from less-favoured regions within the geographical area of EMS membership for presenting results at conferences or attending courses, or for research stays in foreign countries, normally up to a maximum of 900 euros in each case or 500 euros for trips within Europe.
Eligible researchers should use this online form in order to apply for travel grants.
The applications must be submitted by September 30th, 2019.
