Conference: Opening Perspectives in Algebra, Representations, and Topology (OP-ART)
General Information

This conference is made possible in part thanks to the generous support from the Bielefeld University, the National Science Foundation, the Simons Foundation, the Institut de Matemàtiques (IMUB), the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and the Societat Catalana de Matemàtiques.
Dates: May 25 to 29, 2015

 Grants available (CLOSED)

Almost in the final part of the research program, we want to bring together both leading experts and active researchers of the three areas involved to explain their latest results, new ideas and open problems on the subject, and always addressing their talks to a wide and diverse audience.
Our preliminary list of speakers already covers a wide range of topics: Commutative and noncommutative cluster theory, the interplay between homotopy theory, K-theory and algebraic geometry, algebraic symbolic dynamics, infinite dimensional representation theory are some of the topics that are already represented in the conference.
We invite interested people to participate and to submit an abstract for a contributed talk through our open call (see details below).
