Workshop: Brave new Algebra: opening perspectives
General information
Dates: April 20 to 24, 2015
Following the advanced course "Building bridgesbetween Algebra and Topology" this workshop aims to assemble recognized experts and young talents in both algebra and topology in the field to give advanced research-level talks. The focus will be on those subjects in Algebraic topology, Representation Theory and Algebra where techniques, problems or concepts borrowed from one of the other subjects had a major impact, with a particular emphasis on cellularization and localization problems. The workshop is also addressed to non-specialists interested in learning some of the new results in these areas and how the application of new homological methods benefited them
