Presentation

Homological algebra is a rich and ubiquitous area; it is both an active field of research and a widespread toolbox for many mathematicians.

The aim of this intensive course is to present three different aspects of recent applications and developments of homological methods in areas like Commutative Algebra, Algebraic Geometry or Representation theory.

The course  will consist of three series of  lectures, each series will have 4 hours, and they will be  combined with working sessions. It is mainly addressed to PhD students and post-docs in related areas, also more established researchers willing to learn more about these exciting subjects are encouraged to participate. For young people,  the course should  serve as a good introduction to the forthcoming workshop.
