Federico Poncio holds a Master’s degree in Data Science from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA – Exactas) and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Torcuato Di Tella University, both in Argentina. His Master’s thesis explored the predictive capabilities of Topological Data Analysis in autism research. He has also taught mathematics at his alma mater and worked as a statistical consultant on several research projects.
He is currently a PhD student in Computational and Mathematical Neuroscience under the supervision of Diego Vidaurre (CRM). His research focuses on developing useful representations of brain imaging data—particularly in the context of visual perception—as well as on the mathematical foundations of computational neuroscience.
