CRM PhD Student awarded the Anile-ECMI Prize for Mathematics in Industry

​The Anile-ECMI prize is awarded every two years by the European Consortium for Mathematics in Industry. It is given to a young researcher for an excellent PhD thesis, in industrial mathematics, successfully submitted at a European university in 2014-2016.
The 2016 Anile-ECMI Prize for Mathematics in Industry was awarded to Dr. Francesc Font Martínez, for his thesis "Beyond the classical Stefan problem". Dr. Font studied at CRM under the direction of Professor Tim Myers. He graduated Cum Laude from UPC in 2014.
