Modular Conference: Arithmetic of Modular Forms and Modularity Results

An activity of an i-MATH Intensive Research Programme

Dates:   July 5 to 9, 2010

Place:   Centre de Recerca Matemàtica (CRM), Bellaterra, Barcelona, Spain
How to reach the CRM

Goals

Several workshops and advanced courses will take place at the CRM within its Research Programme in Arithmetic Geometry in 2010, as a continuation of the activities held in 2009. This research programme aims at exploring key topics from the arithmetic of number fields and function fields, including Drinfeld and classical modular varieties, classical and p-adic L-functions, the Langlands programme, the Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer conjecture, Iwasawa theory, and the Bloch-Kato conjecture.
