Social programme: The social programme of BAS2008 includes:

1. A guided visit to the Sagrada Família temple (Wednesday, September 3, at 5 p.m.).
2. Social dinner (Wednesday, September 3, at 8:30 p.m.).
3. An international football game (football 5 or football 7, dependent on the number of participants). Those who are interested in taking part in this game, please take your equipment with you. We will play on an artificial grass field.
4. A blitz chess tournament (Round Robin or Swiss, dependent on the number of participants).
 
Admissions:

In order to register to the Conference the Scientific Committee should receive and accept an abstract of all prospective participants. Please, read the following  document to find the instructions: Submission of abstracts.

Deadline for submission of abstracts: May 1, 2008.

Notification of acceptance of abstracts: June 1, 2008.

Grants and
financial support:

Only for those whose abstracts have been accepted. See Admissions above.

The CRM offers a limited number of grants covering registration and accommodation addressed to young researchers. The deadline for application is June 16, 2008.

VERY IMPORTANT

Note that those participants awarded with accommodation grants will have their lodging arranged through the organisation. The remaining participants are encouraged to book their lodging as soon as possible. You can check our page on Information on lodging in the area.

Registration fee:  160 Euros

Deadline for Registration and Payment: July 1, 2008.

  • Pay the registration fee
  • Check whether your application for support has been succesful (once the grants have been awarded and the resolutions have been sent to the applicants)
