Variational Analysis, Optimization (Local and Global methods, Nonsmooth Optimization, Semi-infinite and Parametric Optimization, Semi-algebraic methods), Convex Analysis, Control and Optimal Control, Operations Research, Game Theory, Applications.

General description

The topics of the conference are: classical and modern optimization theory, including semidefinite programming, sensitivity analysis, algorithms (local and global aspects), stochastic optimization, structured optimization, as well as related topics in applied mathematics, including Control Theory, Dynamical systems, Game Theory.

Objectives

This international conference aims to promote research in the area of Optimization and related topics (Optimal Control, Calculus of Variations, Dynamical systems, Game theory, etc), by bringing together world-leading experts and other specialists of the field together with young scholars. This event provides an excellent opportunity to disseminate the latest major achievements and to explore new directions and perspectives, and is expected to have a broad international appeal, dealing with topics of fundamental importance in Applied Mathematics and other related sciences (Economics, Physics, Engineering …).
