Research and Transfer Units (URT)

Research and Transfer Units (URT) are the CRM tool for the encouragement of mathematical research in strategic areas. Each URT gives support to researchers and research groups interested in the corresponding area, organizes activities, promotes projects, etc.

The CRM is currently running the following URT:

• Industrial Mathematics, coordinated by Timothy Myers (CRM)
• Computational Neuroscience, coordinated by Antoni Guillamon (UPC)
• Complex Systems, coordinated by Álvaro Corral (CRM)
• Financial Mathematics, coordinated by Sebastian del Baño
