Submission of Proposals for Research Programmes
The CRM invites proposals for Research Programmes in any branch of mathematics and its applications.
Final proposals should be submitted before November 19, 2010.
Preliminary proposals
A preliminary proposal should be sent before October 1, 2010, and
should contain the following:
- A title and a scientific summary, addressing background, objectives, and
perspectives of the programme.
- Members of the Scientific Committee (names, affiliations, and contact
information).
Final proposals
Final proposals should contain the following headings:
- Title of the programme (please include a short name as well) and a scientific description, addressing background, objectives,
and perspectives of the programme.
- Members of the Scientific Committee (names, affiliations, and full contact
information), specifying the name of the coordinator.
- Most suitable period(s) of time for the programme (the academic year begins on September 1 and ends on July 31; the
Christmas break goes from December 20 to January 6).
- Length, structure, and activities planned during the programme.
- A preliminary list, including postal and e-mail addresses, of potential participants, divided into the following categories: “highly desirable”, “desirable”,
and “reserve”, mentioning the type of support needed for each of them and
their academic status.
- Additional expected funding, indicating the source.
- Connection, if any, with local research groups or with groups from other
Spanish institutions.
Both proposals should be addressed to the CRM Director and sent by e-mail
to crmcalls@crm.cat
