Goals
This workshop will be devoted to the study of the dynamical aspects of foliations, when considered as generalizations of classical dynamical systems, where the leaves play the role of the orbits. In this way, most of the classical dynamical concepts have foliation versions: exceptional minimal sets, entropy, ergodicity, etc. The study of related topological aspects of foliations is included, like vanishing cycles, classifying spaces, tangential and transverse LS category, etc. The dynamical properties of foliations are reflected by their holonomy groups and pseudogroups, so group (and pseudogroup) actions on manifolds will be also considered. The workshop will be mainly oriented to deal with open problems concerning these dynamical aspects of foliations.
