The arithmetic of Hilbert Modular Forms

Abstract: Hilbert modular forms are generalizations of classical modular forms to any totally real number field and have a very rich arithmetic theory. The series of lectures is meant to be an introduction to the subject with an emphasis on the following two topics: images of Galois representations associated to Hilbert modular forms; Hilbert modular varieties and their integral cohomology.
